Review: Moby-Dick

Moby-Dick
Moby-Dick by Kathleen Olmstead

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a well done abridgment. It had excitement and kept some of the biblical allusions. It had interesting explanations of the old whaling profession, but also showed Ishmael’s wonder and awe of the whales the Pequod encountered. This children’s version showed us Ahab’s obsession with Moby-Dick and the consequences of it.
