This book was a very good retelling of the Odyssey. For being an abridged version for children, it was very exciting and interesting. It was well done. We enjoyed hearing of Odysseus’s journey back to Ithaca after the Trojan War ended. We look forward to reading the original when our children are older.

Review: The Iliad

Classic Starts�: The Iliad by Arthur Pober

We enjoyed this book. It was an interesting retelling of the Trojan War for children. Our boys especially enjoy reading what my 3 year old likes to call “fight fight” books. This is a good preliminary introduction to the Iliad so that when our kids are older we can all enjoy the original.
